Guards room

Built at the same time at the State Room, the Guards Room was separated from it by a double chimney, one chimney was probably demolished by Baron Otard to obtain the reception room with its impressive dimensions that we know today.

The walls here carry many traces testifying to the presence of English and Irish prisoners during the Seven Years War (1756-1763).
