When all is calm at Château de Cognac, legend has it one still hears the song and
laughter of the lavish banquets of the grand era in which François 1er reigned.

During these feasts, the King would organise a game taking his guests
throughout the château. Clues laid out in various rooms guided the
guests to a banquet hall in which the most refined food and drink
awaited them... they had "reached paradise". The reception could begin.
